Masumi Makes Rainbows

Masumi makes rainbows in a blink of the eye,
so remember Masumi by each rainbow you pass by.
Living on Hawaii's North Shore,
Masumi did adore ... THE RAINBOWS.
But one rainbow was shattered
and its colors were scattered,
when nothing else mattered,
falling to the land,
some sinking in the sand from one bad hand.
Now there is a hole where that rainbow used to be,
that your eye cannot see ... Masumi.
An angel was then born,
so there is no reason to mourn,
and she enjoys fixing where the sky was torn.
Masumi has pushed big clouds into that hole
in the sky ... so nobody cry.
As the soft, warm wind blows nobody knows why,
it pushes white clouds across the sky.
Is it something way up high away from the eye,
where only birds can fly?
Could I touch it and help make it go?
The answer is no.
Its far out of reach of every beach,
though the sand it does bleach.
I believe one thing is for certain,
the wind comes from Heaven's curtain,
and the sun always comes out ... that,
... one can never doubt.
Can I help the sun to shine today ...
casting down just one golden ray?
The answer is no, ... not today.
Masumi can!
Masumi knows which way the wind blows.
Masumi knows everything
and can even make aloha sing.
Now Masumi makes waves,
rainbows and palm trees sway ...
now she does that everday ...
just for play.
But I wanted to learn more as I sat
on a a distant shore ...
then it dawned on me ...
Masumi can see much more than me ...
ever so happily.
The sun is out there is no doubt.
So come with me and Masumi to the turquoise sea.
Our ship will glide a stallion at full stride,
we can harness the breeze as falling leaves,
we can make friends with the whales
who will follow our sails,
and we will be free like Masumi to our destiny.
Masumi makes rainbows in a blink of the eye,
so remember Masumi
by each rainbow you pass by.
